Alternator Serial Numbers

PENNTEX ALTERNATOR SERIAL NUMBER LISTS These lists will help you cross-reference a PennTex alternator Serial Number to get the Model Number. The numbers are broken down by year:

HOW TO OPEN THESE ADOBE ACROBAT FILES:
There are two basic versions of Acrobat Reader: "Earlier" and "Later". The Bookmark feature opens differently in each one, and the Bookmark helps you find the month that the alternator was made.
On later versions of Acrobat Reader after you (1) click on the "Year", (2) a page will open with a black stripe running down the left side of the page. To open "Bookmarks" you will (3) click on an image in the black stripe that looks like the one to the left. Once the Month List opens, (4) click the "Month" you want. (NOTE: The Year File might have to be completely loaded before the image shows up.) If you don't use the Bookmark feature the list will open with the first serial number in January and you can scroll down to the serial number that you want.

On earlier versions of Acrobat Reader: 1) Click below on the "Year" that you want to open. 2) Click on the sideways tab that says "BOOKMARKS" to open the Months list. 3) Click on the "Month" you want to open.

Another way to find your number is to use "Ctrl-F" Open the "Year" file, hold down the "Ctrl" key and type "F". A box will open. Type your serial number, hit "enter" and the list should go to that number.
